Welcome To The New Me!

As you can see, it looks a lot like the old me, for those of you who read the wordpress version. For those of you who read the Blogger version… it’s the same words, just a different look. I bet you’re wondering why three blogs that have exactly the same content, huh? Let me ’splain… no. Is too much. Let me sum up: In the beginning there was the Blogger one. Then I decided to move, so I set up the Wordpress (free hosted) one. Then my brother bought me my own domain name (he has his own hosting) a few days ago, so I decided that while I was changing it up anyway, I might as well change it up good and just have my own. Plus I can do a lot more with a self-hosted version of Wordpress. There ya go. It could have been longer, so just thank your lucky stars I got it all out in a few sentences.
That said, welcome. I’m having a blog-warming party… sip some chai, coffee, Dr. Pepper or whatever you like and drop me a comment. (Yes, I’m shamelessly begging you to de-lurk on my very first second post on my new blog.) Pretend you’re eating some of my mom’s cookies, guess which movie I quoted above, read some cheesy fiction I wrote to enter a contest (I did not win, by the way), read all about my narrow escape from a burglar, and read some more stuff about me.
Then come back and say howdy. It’s nice to see who’s out there, ya know?

First comment on the new blog! I’m so excited!! 1) I really want one of those cookies. 2) Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies of all time. 3) Cheesy fiction sounds like perfect material for a bedtime story, since I’m about to go curl up with my pillows anywho. (Not that I’m at all implying that your writing would put me to sleep.)
Congrats on the blog move! Personal domains are a blasty-blast. :)

Thanks for linking me on your site. Sorry to hear the sparkly topped container full o’ quarters got stolen. When I was in college a cat burglar stole Nautica cologne from my car. I should have thanked him.

Rachelskirts beat me to it but I totally would have guessed “Debbie Does Dallas”. But my next guess who have been Princess Bride.

Congrats on the move! I’m all about having my own domain name (and am thinking about switching to Wordpress, I’m currently a Movable Type user).
I’m also all about your mom’s cookies AND your $1 tripod.

alright, links updated. It’s looking good in here. I’ll have to come back and read the posts you linked to. I have been working almost anytime there is daylight and the sun is already up so I gotta go.

I will accept your meme challenge. :) Love the new digs.

Man, you move a lot. I’m glad you don’t have any heavy couches or anything.

“Let me ’splain… no. Is too much. Let me sum up.” So funny. My favorite movie of all time. I think I need to add that line to my daily lexicon.
