Howdy! My name is Brooke. I’ve only had a blog since about November (not including MySpace… I had one there for a few years before I started this one), so I’m still trying to find my voice in the blogging community. Please check out the “Peeps I Like” section… there are some awesome people out there blogging. And leave me a comment and I’ll check out your blog, because I love finding new reads.I love to laugh. What’s funny about this is I haven’t peed my pants since I was like five years old… I’m always afraid I’m going to when I laugh really hard, but I’ve been fortunate so far. And for that I am truly thankful.
I love purses. I’ve owned well over 200 in my lifetime… at one point I owned over 70 at the same time. I also like to make purses, so in addition to all the ones I’ve purchased, I have a number that I’ve made myself.
I have verbal diarrhea (but only when I’m typing. In person, I’m very much a quiet person). Sometimes I ramble and ramble and ramble until I realize that a post is way too long for most humans to read in one sitting, and I have to force myself to quit it. Hopefully this post won’t end up that way…
I love my family. My brother and sister-in-law are having a baby in July, and it’s going to be a girl! I’m excited to be an auntie. I live at home again, and it’s been pretty nice. I’ve had some periods of quasi-depression when I think too hard about the fact that I’m 26 and I am back in my parents house, but really… it’s been a pretty great experience as a whole. I get to spend a lot of time with my sister (nicknamed Smalls around these parts), and my life is pretty chill.
I like to make stuff. I have my own website and an Etsy shop where my handmade things can be purchased. I also love to do custom earrings, beanies, magnets, etc. If you see something you like anywhere in those two locations that you’d rather have in a different color, or if you’d just like to tweak the style a little, or if you want something completely unique, please feel free to contact me here or here or in a conversation on Etsy.

I liked your post and went back and read several others and I agree that you’re witty! :-)
I’ve never made a purse but I’m going to try. I found some patterns online that look pretty easy and I have some really cute fabric. I failed home ec (well, not really, but at the end while everyone else made outfits, I was “allowed” to make placemats) but I can sew enough to piece quilts.
I did the traditional quilt thing for a while, but now I’m into art quilts. It’s so much more my speed because with art quilts, it doesn’t matter if the points match!
I’ll be back to visit ’cause you’re funny and I like funny blogs.

Hi! This may sound random, but what size jeans do you wear? I have a brand new pair I was going to sell on ebay (nice designer ones) but I’d rather give them to someone who could use a pair rather than someone who’s going to be buying them off me for 30 bucks.
