Free To Good Home.

Lara sent out a tweet asking if anyone wanted a pretty pair of pumps a while ago, and I replied that I would love them, but she probably already had a ton of people who wanted them.  She told me that nope, I was the first (only?) one to respond.  She mailed them off and I received them along with a super-cute card a few days later.

In an uber-sad turn of events, they are just a little bit too small for my massive dogs.  I can get them on, but they’re a little snug, which means that if I ever wore them to go anywhere I would want to die within, like, 10 minutes.  So… if anyone wants a lovely pair of black velvety pumps, please drop me a comment telling me why your home would be a good home for these gems.

Note: For aesthetic reasons, my sister’s feet are the ones modeling these shoes.  Nobody wants to see my fat toes a-burstin’ out of them.  They actually fit her really nicely, but she’s 13 and not really interested in anything with a heel.

  2. Well, I wear a size seven, but an eight feels so good that I buy a nine………..then I return them for a 9 1/2 so I can wear the left one too. (left foot is 1/2 inch longer than right foot) THAT fact should get me SOMETHING. ANYTHING!

  4. It looks so lovely…I would like to say I want them but I’ve just landed on this blog/site. Besides, it might just be small for me too. My size is 8-9.

  5. My feet are super tiny (6 or 6 1/2). Still, though, they’re beautiful!
P.S. Mo Rocca is on the Daily Show–he makes me giggle.

  7. Gretch– Wow, you have tiny feet! Maybe it’s a good thing we don’t live close to each other… I would feel like a Sasquatch next to you. :)

  8. Cindy– YES! Dana said that she’s not a fan of really high heels, and these have like a 4-inch heel. Maybe 3… I don’t wear heels enough to know how to measure. So email me your full name and address and I’ll ship them out in the next couple of days.

  9. I wear 9.5 and have been shopping for months for a good pair of black pumps as I have none….I’ll pay you for shipping!

  10. Jessica– if Cindy doesn’t get back to me or doesn’t want them for some reason, they’re yours! I’ll let you know.

  11. I look amazing in black pumps. The taller the better. tehehehe. And if they don’t fit my absolutely beautiful feet, I could score some points with the wifey by giving them to her.

  12. Scott– That is something I’d love to see… you wobbling down the street in 4-inch heels. * wipes brain * I’m already mailing them to CityStreams, so it’s one image that will have to be mental only. :)

  14. Sweet… it’s 38 N. Central Ave. It’s called Downtown Grounds, and I’ll be there Tuesday morning and possibly Wednesday as well. You can find it on Google Maps here.
