Twitterque.

I’ve been meaning to write about our “Twitterque” for a few days now, and haven’t found the time.

Michael, Grace and I all went over to Brent & Tam’s house last Friday to have a barbecue with them and their kids. The boys both ended up Tweeting during dinner, but Tam and I restrained ourselves. :)

All the young’uns (Grace, Michael, Kass & Kota) got in the pool, and Tam and I sat and put our feet in for awhile. Then Michael jumped in and completely soaked me… I ended up running home and changing real fast, and picking up dry clothing for my siblings while I was home as well.

We stayed until after midnight, just talking and watching YouTube videos and listening to music and just fellowshipping in general. It was really cool. It’s interesting to hang out with people who already know your dirty laundry, so to speak… I never felt like I had to put on a good face or pretend to be something I wasn’t, because they’ve read my blog and they probably know my inner thoughts better than some of my friends do. On the other hand, part of me was like, “Do we have anything to talk about, or have we already read all the latest on each others’ blogs?” But we didn’t have a problem. All in all, it was a great evening, even though the Cosands couldn’t be there (come next time, guys!).
